Hood River Bridge Accident Investigations: A man has died following a crash involving a semi-truck on the Hood River-White Salmon Interstate Bridge on Thursday.
According to the Wasco County Sheriff’s Office, the Hood River-White Salmon Interstate Bridge is closed indefinitely for repairs due to the semi-truck accident.

A collision involving a semi-truck occurred on the bridge moments ago, resulting in severe damage. Members on the bridge at the time were struck and impacted by the incident.
For safety reasons and to allow engineers to thoroughly assess the damage, the bridge will be closed until further notice.
