Hector Hernandez Pasquale, 50, Pronounced Dead at Scene After Being Found Shot in DeLand Front Yard, Prompting an Investigation
Volusia County detectives are investigating a Saturday night DeLand shooting that left one person dead.
According to the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to Massachusetts Avenue around 10:45 after they received a 911 call about an unconscious man in a front yard.
The victim, who officials identified as 50-year-old Hector Hernandez Pasquale, was pronounced dead on the scene. According to officials, it was determined he was shot.
Detectives say no suspects are in custody at this time, but they are actively investigating and pursuing potential leads.
