Harrogate Stabbing Investigations: North Yorkshire Police in Harrogate are currently dealing with an incident involving a knife on Thursday evening.
According to law enforcement, a stabbing occurred this evening around Nidd Viaduct. A forensic team and North Yorkshire Police officers were called to the scene at the intersection of Bilton Lane and the Nidd Viaduct.
Following the incident, a cordon has been placed between Bilton Lane and the Nidd Viaduct in Harrogate – a town in North Yorkshire North Yorkshire, England, east of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Locals have been urged to avoid the scene of the incident. North Yorkshire Police released the following statement following the incident.

Police have released a statement after a boy was found cut and bleeding near Harrogate on Wednesday night. North Yorkshire Police were called to Nidd Viaduct at around 4.45pm on July 24 where they found a boy. 17, “with lacerations”.
The teenager was taken to hospital and police launched an investigation into the “violent incident”. The cordon will remain in place while forensic investigation work is carried out.
Posting to their Facebook page, a spokesman for the force said: We’re appealing for witnesses following an altercation which occurred in Bilton near Harrogate.
“The ambulance service alerted us to the incident at 4.43pm today (Wednesday 24 July 2024).Officers quickly arrived on scene at the Nidd Viaduct and found a 17-year-old boy with lacerations.
“The boy was taken to hospital where he is receiving treatment for injuries which are not believed to be life-threatening or life changing. “A cordon will likely remain in place this evening to allow forensic investigation work to take place. ” Police are now urging anyone with information to come forward.
Detective Chief Inspector Carol Kirk from North Yorkshire Police said: “There is no room for this level of violence in North Yorkshire and a full investigation is now underway. I would urge anyone who has any information to contact us immediately.
“The victim is receiving treatment in hospital but thankfully hasn’t suffered any serious injuries.
