Gulf Park Estates Shooting: Multiple calls of shots fired, drive-by shooting under investigation, JCSD says

The Jackson County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a drive-by shooting in the Gulf Park Estates community Saturday night. Sheriff John Ledbetter says around 9 p.m., deputies responded to multiple calls of shots fired in area of Meadowlark and South 4th Street.

Deputies found an SUV parked in a driveway that was hit with bullets several times. Shell casings were recovered at the scene. JCSD says there were no injuries. Information is limited at this time.

A man lost his life to gunfire last Sunday in Sayler Park, Cincinnati Police have confirmed. The incident happened just after midnight, as reported.

Officers were sent to the 7200 block of River Road around 12:08 a.m. for a report of a person shot, according to a news release from Cincinnati police.
