Grace Quinn Middleton ID Death – A tragic accident on Wednesday morning claimed the life of a teen following a two-vehicle collision involving a concrete truck on U.S. Highway 20, east of Caldwell.
According to a news release from the Idaho State Police (ISP), the crash occurred at approximately 8:06 a.m. at the intersection of U.S. Highway 20 and Midland Boulevard.
The incident happened when the teen driver of a 2012 Subaru Tribeca failed to stop at a stop sign, resulting in a collision with a 2019 Oshkosh concrete truck driven by a 59-year-old Caldwell man.
Authorities confirmed that the teen died at the scene of the crash. The driver of the concrete truck sustained minor injuries and was transported to the hospital for treatment.
The collision led to the temporary blockage of the roadway in both directions for approximately two hours as police conducted their investigation. The ISP continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash to determine the exact cause and sequence of events.
