Cara Garcia, a student at Medina Valley High School in Castroville, Texas, sustained serious injuries as a result of a severe motor vehicle accident.
The crash happened following to Cara’s attendance at a football game at the school, as per the accounts of her loved ones. After the game, she attended the fifth quarter event at a nearby church, a well-attended community event that provides an opportunity for reflection and fellowship.
Cara offered to transport a friend to their vehicle at the school after the church engagement. However, she was tragically struck by another vehicle in a T-bone collision as she exited the school parking lot.
Cara’s condition has been a source of tremendous concern for her family, friends, and the entire Medina Valley High School community, as the collision resulted in significant injuries. A prayer circle has been established to offer support and solidarity to Cara and her family as the community unites during this difficult period.
At 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 15, 2024, the event will take place in the Main Gym of Medina Valley High School. The purpose of this gathering is to promote a sense of unity and fortitude among those impacted by this tragic incident, as well as to offer prayers, comfort, and encouragement to Cara and her family.
