Gino Gizzarelli Death: Ontario Dentist has died, Continuing Medical Education mourns

Gino Gizzarelli Death CIMRO – Continuing Medical Education mourns the death of Dr. Gino Gizzarelli, a mentor and close friend who passed away suddenly.

He died leaving behind a legendary track record in the dental school he worked and in the medical community at a large. He was announced dead on Friday, August 9, 2024 following a recently released statement by CIMRO, paying tribute to him.

Gino Gizzarelli had so many accomplishments, including achieving high standing academic positions along with clinical and business excellence. Amongst his peers, he was seen as the glue that held them all together and was the best of them all.

Gino was a pharmacist who became a dentist. He was the person whose medical knowledge was so immense that he was a reference his peers back in school. He was the guy who hosted the best parties and created cocktails that were incredible and surprisingly potent.

The person who watched over all of us, like our last ski trip where he escorted our drunken crew back to the chalet one by one. And maybe the best part of Gino was his beaming smile that when you saw it, your heart immediately was full of joy.

My heart breaks for his wonderful wife Maria and their amazing children. I remember how much Gino was infatuated with Maria when she started at our dental school, and it became one of the best and most loving relationships that I have ever witnessed. My heart also breaks for his other family members and especially his closest friends, Petey and Taylor. (Pio Modi, via Facebook – Friday, August 161,24)
