Giancarlo Villasmil Obituary – On May 6th, 2024, tragedy struck our DHS Law Enforcement family with the heartbreaking loss of 17-year-old Giancarlo Villasmil, the son of our esteemed colleague, Deportation Officer Juan M. Villasmil from the Miami Field Office.
Giancarlo’s mother, Yolanda Villasmil, also a dedicated CBP Officer, joins Officer Villasmil in mourning the devastating loss of their beloved son. As a community, we are united in grief and stand in unwavering solidarity with the Villasmil family during this unimaginable time of sorrow.
