Gannett Fulford Death – It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Gannett Stephen Fulford, who left this world on Saturday, February 22, 2025, at the young age of 19.

Gannett was a vibrant soul, brimming with love for his family, friends, and life itself.

A dedicated Honors Freshman at Florida State University, he spent his days not only excelling academically but also crafting engaging content for his 80,000 followers across his successful social media platforms.

He cherished every moment spent with friends, eagerly planning gatherings and creating meaningful memories. Gannett also regularly cooked his own meals, showcasing his commitment to both health and independence.

Gannett was known for a multitude of attributes that merely hint at the depth of his extraordinary character. Among them were his integrity, kindness, tenderness, vision, and humility. He had a commanding voice paired with a hearty, infectious laugh that could brighten any room.

A passionate lover of all genres of film and television, Gannett was also a devoted cat enthusiast who found joy in the company of his feline friends. He had a keen interest in games like chess and poker, enjoying the strategy and camaraderie each game brought. He relished chilly, sunny days and embraced the beauty they offered.

Throughout his life, Gannett placed an immense value on relationships, prioritizing people above all else. He was the one who took the initiative to organize plans for the friend group, who facilitated the poker games, and who pooled contributions for group gifts.

Always the planner, he sought out exciting events for road trips and made sure that everyone was included in the fun. Gannett seamlessly connected multiple friend groups, demonstrating his unique ability to bring people together and create a sense of community. He was more than just a connector; he was the glue that held friendships together.

Gannett’s relationship with God was both deep and uncomplicated. He held a profound conviction that God is sovereign over all and loved His creation passionately. He believed that his need for a Savior was fulfilled through the redeeming sacrifice of Jesus.

Gannett enjoyed listening to sermons, delving into Bible study, and engaging in theological discussions at any level, always eager to share his faith with those around him.

To honor the memory of Gannett, a Celebration of Life will take place on March 8 at 1 PM at Four Oaks Community Church, located at 4500 W Shannon Lakes Dr, Tallahassee, FL. In lieu of flowers, we invite those who wish to pay tribute to Gannett’s legacy to consider making a donation to the Gannett Fulford Memorial Scholarship Fund at The First Bank in Monticello, FL.
