Today has been a tough day. Coaching is a privilege and something we do cos we love it, but mostly it’s about the people and players we meet along the way. But nothing we are taught or experienced in that coaching journey prepares us for the loss of one of our players.
It’s been an absolute pleasure coaching Gabriel Holt Gabe at The University of Central Lancashire – UCLan UCLan Rugby League. We have had some highs and lows along the way, but your respect for me and in return mine for u brought us so many great rugby memories and experiences. You were a talented young man who always put your team first! Gone too soon x. RIP GABE. #LLGH #21forever
