FM 1151 Accident: 3 hospitalized after crash between Washington and Osage in Randall County

FM 1151 Accident – Three people have been taken to a local hospital after a crash in Randall County. DPS Sgt. Cindy Barkley said the crash involved three cars on FM 1151 between Washington and Osage.

Sgt. Barkley said a pickup towing a trailer was driving eastbound on FM 1151 while another car was driving westbound on FM 1151. The pickup veered into the westbound lane and struck the car. Another car driving in the westbound lane crashed into the car as well.

Three people were taken to a local hospital with serious injuries. FM 1151 was blocked off between Washington and Osage while crews worked the scene.

A wrong-way crash in Waterford resulted in serious injury for two drivers early Saturday morning, police said.

According to Waterford Police Chief Scott Underwood, police and firefighters were called to the area of M-59 and Alma Street for the crash at around 5 a.m, involving a 2013 Honda Civic, a 2014 Hyundai Santa Fe and a 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 pickup truck.

Underwood said an investigation shows the Honda was traveling west on M-59 in the eastbound lanes when it collided with the Hyundai. The Honday then struck the pickup truck.

The Honda driver, a 31-year-old man, and the Hyundai driver, a 48-year-old man, were transported to McLaren Oakland Hospital, The Hoda driver was later transferred to Detroit Receiving Hospital, Underwood said. The pickup truck driver wasn’t injured, he noted.
