Eric Sievers Obituary – Eric Sievers, an American former professional football player who played as a tight end in the National Football League passed away on Wednesday, April 10, 2024, he was 66 years old.

An American football player who played tight end in the National Football League (NFL), Eric Scott Sievers was a former professional football player who played in the United States.

In the fourth round of the 1981 NFL Draft, the San Diego Chargers selected Sievers, a tight end who stood 6 feet 4 inches tall and weighed 235 pounds. Sievers was a graduate of the University of Maryland. During the 1981 season, he was selected for the NFL All Rookie team.

Between the years 1981 and 1990, he was a member of the National Football League (NFL) and played for the New England Patriots, the Los Angeles Rams, and the Chargers.

He received Parade All-American and Scholastic All-American accolades in 1975 while he was a student at Washington-Lee High School, which is located in Arlington, Virginia.

Mark Malone, Matt Suhey, Stan Brock, Brad Budde, Anthony Munoz, Bruce Clark, and Curtis Dickey were among the other All-Americans. All of these players would someday play in the National Football League. In the year 1997, he was honored with induction into the Virginia High School Hall of Fame.
