Ellis Dismore: 23-year-old Middlesbrough man charged in stabbing of teenager near Corpus Christi Catholic Primary School
The video footage from the closed-circuit television system that was shown in court showed a man sprinting down the road toward the victim, who was listed in the article as X and was screaming. In his testimony before the court, Mr. Dry stated that Dismore “stabbed his victim in the chest” as they attempted to enter the vehicle of a motorist who had stopped himself to offer assistance. It was captured on video that a driver was heard yelling “Get off” while another individual could be heard stating, “I was f****** good to you.”
According to Mr. Dry, the woman driver allegedly left the accused victim at a location farther down the road, close to Corpus Christi Catholic Primary School. A police cordon was set up outside the school, and several emergency vehicles, including police, ambulances, and an air ambulance, were dispatched to the location.
X was transported to James Cook University Hospital in Middlesbrough by air ambulance, and the court heard that the kid was given “a chest drain that potentially saved their life” before the ambulance arrived. During the trial, the jury played recordings of the voice notes that were used to support the allegations that Dismore abandoned his victim and his family.
One of them had a voice that asked, “Ignore me?” Ignore me, will you? You are aware of what I will do. dead to me, f****** dead. Affirmative, I am sorry. In my life, if I were to pass away tomorrow, I would make sure that everything is in order. You can count on me to get every f***** from Pally and somewhere else else. You can bet your life that I will be stabbed and raped.
Dismore testified in front of the jury last week, stating that he was pursuing a master’s degree in Applied Data Science at the time of his arrest. In his testimony before the court, he stated that he lives with his father and that he spends his time in his bedroom studying and playing video games on his Xbox.
Even though he had never been in a relationship before, he claimed that he had very few friends. A fake Snapchat profile was created by Dismore, and he utilized it as a means of concealing his identity during the relationship.
In response to the jury’s inquiry as to the reason he had distributed the private photographs of the adolescent to other individuals, Dismore stated that he had done so because X’s family had been sending him threats. He stated that accusations were circulating on the internet that he had coerced X into taking the photographs, and he wanted to demonstrate that they had “consented to send them to me.”
Dismore asserts that the adolescent informed him that they were 19 years old; nevertheless, after they blocked him, he said that he discovered from the adolescent’s family that they were only 13 years old. Immediately following the termination of their relationship’ and X’s refusal to communicate with him, he distributed the explicit photographs. His court appearance for the sentencing is scheduled for the 26th of February, 2024.
According to a representative for the Cleveland Police Department, “Incidents like these are thankfully rare; however, they serve as a warning to those who use social media to be vigilant and aware of the threats that people can pose online.”
