Edgware Stabbing:- A woman was stabbed in Edgware, north London, on Thursday morning. Anita Mukhey, 66, was a medical secretary in the NHS. In a statement released through the Met Police, her family said she was a married mother and grandmother devoted to her family.

“The family ask for privacy at this difficult time,” the statement said. Jalal Debella, 22, from Colindale, has been charged with her murder.

Mr. Debella refrained from entering a plea during his appearance at Willesden Magistrates’ Court and is scheduled to appear before the Old Bailey on Tuesday. ‘Highly frightening’ video footage.

Authorities were sent to Burnt Oak Broadway at approximately 11:50 BST on Thursday. Ms. Mukhey received medical attention for her knife wounds but unfortunately passed away at the location of the incident.

The PA news agency observed individuals promptly coming to her assistance in the immediate aftermath of the incident, as depicted in the recorded clip.

The Metropolitan Police issued a plea to refrain from disseminating the “extremely distressing” video on the internet. On Saturday, a police spokesperson stated on X (previously known as Twitter) that a limited number of individuals on social media have shared explicit videos of the assault.

“We request the deletion of these posts and urge others not to share them.” The Metropolitan Police earlier stated that the attack was a “singular occurrence” and that they were not actively searching for any further suspects.

In the wake of this tragic incident, we extend our deepest condolences to the families affected by this heart-wrenching loss. As they grapple with the indescribable pain of bidding farewell to their loved ones, we share in their sorrow and stand in solidarity during this time of profound grief.
