Dr. George received his medical degree from Louisiana State University, where he graduated in the top 10% of his class. He was honored to be chosen as Intern of the Year in 2008 for the Louisiana Charity Hospital System.
Following that, he completed his comprehensive ophthalmology residency training at the prestigious University of Louisville Lions Eye Center in Louisville, Kentucky.
He then went on to perfect his surgical skills by completing his corneal and refractive surgery fellowship, partnering with the highly acclaimed surgeon Dr. Ming Wang of the Wang Vision Institute in Nashville, Tennessee. There he was a leading provider in performing 3D LASIK and Cataract surgery on thousands of patients.
Dr. George was honored to join Tylock-George Eye Care and Laser Center in 2012. Since becoming Director and Chief Surgeon, he has strived to provide his patients with the highest quality of vision possible. Dr. George and Dr. Tylock were the first surgeons in Texas to use the advanced WaveLight Refractive Suite Laser. Utilizing cutting-edge LASIK techniques, he has helped thousands of patients enjoy life beyond glasses and contact lenses. Dr. George is also a specialist in cataract and lens implant surgery.
