Dr Mark Price Boston MA Death:- Dr. Mark Price, team physician for the New England Patriots, has passed away. He was announced dead on Sunday, August 18th, 2024.

Boston, Massachusetts doctor Mark Price lost his brave fight with cancer. The countless people he touched and the indelible effects of his work will ensure that his legacy will continue.

During his time with the Patriots, Dr. Price provided outstanding competence in his roles as chief team physician and medical director, a position he assumed in 2016.

His dedication to providing first-rate service and his priceless contributions to the health and happiness of players shone through in everything that he did.

In addition to his work with the Patriots, Dr. Price was a captain in the United States Navy Reserves, where he was decorated for his actions in battle in Afghanistan with the Bronze Star Medal.

Dr. Price’s commitment to medicine was on full display in his role as an orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine at Mass General Brigham Sports Medicine. His dedication and skill in medicine were demonstrated when he received his medical degree from Harvard Medical School.

Patriots owner Robert Kraft said in a statement:
“The New England Patriots announced the passing of team doctor, Dr. Mark Price, on Sunday. Price had been the Patriots head team physician and medical director since 2016, with his expertise helping the franchise win two Supers Bowls during his tenure with New England. A Patriots statement cited cancer as the reason for Price’s death. His contributions to the health and well-being of our players were invaluable, and his commitment to excellence was evident in every aspect of his work.”
