Dr Gino Gizzarelli Ontario Death, Well-known Dental Anesthesiologist has died

Dr Gino Gizzarelli Ontario Death – Dr. Gino Gizzarelli, a diplomat of the American Dental Board of Anesthesiology and the National Dental Board of Anesthesiology has sadly passed away.

He was confirmed dead by CIMRO – Continuing Medical Education in a statement that read “It is with great sadness that CIMRO mourns the loss of two of our mentors and close friends recently. Today, we said goodbye to two very great men, Dr. Peter Copp and Dr. Gino Gizzarelli. They will be dearly missed by so many.”

Who was Gino Gizzarelli?
In 1995, Dr. Gino Gizzarelli earned his first degree in pharmacy from the University of Toronto. Before going back to the University of Toronto to resume his dental studies, he spent two years working as a full-time clinical pharmacist at Toronto General Hospital.

He pursued further education at the same university after receiving his dental degree in 2001, finishing a three-year Master’s program in dental anesthesia.

Gino received training in the operating rooms of Toronto East General Hospital and the Hospital for Sick Children over these three years. Gino has worked as a part-time clinical pharmacist at Toronto General Hospital throughout his academic career.

The American Society of Dentist Anesthesiologists, the Canadian Academy of Dental Anaesthesia, and the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario all counted Dr. Gizzarelli among their members in good standing.

Both the National Dental Board of Anesthesiology and the American Dental Board of Anesthesiology recognized Dr. Gizzarelli as a diplomat. In Ontario, he held a certification as a Dental Anaesthesia specialist. In addition to teaching periodically at the University of Toronto Faculty of Dentistry, conferences, and continuing education courses, he was a traveling dentist anesthesiologist.
