Douglasville Fire Investigations: Multiple agencies are responding to a large blaze at an auto shop in Douglasville Georgia Sunday afternoon.
According to the report, the Douglasville Fire Department and multiple assisting units were called the sin of a large blaze at the Collins auto tech shop located next to Pets Set Stay and Play on Highway 5 in Douglasville GA.
According to law enforcement agencies, locals in the area reported hearing loud banks explosions before the massive blaze broke out.
The pet shop next to the auto repair shop has been evacuated by the law enforcement agencies responding to the incident as locals have also been urged to avoid the same at this time.
Workers inside the auto shop were successfully evacuated as law enforcement agencies continued to battle the heavy fire on Highway 5. Locust has scored for prayer for the owner of the auto repair shop identifying as Collins whom many identified as a good man, loved by so many in the community.
A local who prefers to remain anonymous called for prayer for Mr Collins and his family stating that it is heartbreaking to see one’s lifelong achievement go up in flames let’s pray for Collins and his family.
At the time of this publication locust in the area has been urged to avoid the same and stay in a secured place as the fire department battles to the heavy smoke. A thick cloud of smoke could be seen around the vicinity where the incident was happening.
Industries in the area have been urged to shut their doors and windows to avoid pollution caused by the thick black smoke. A part of Highway 5 leading to the pet shop and the auto repair shop has been closed to traffic as the fire department continues battling the blaze. this is a developing story.
