Dorchester Shooting – A person was shot and seriously injured Sunday night in Boston’s Dorchester neighborhood, sparking a significant police response.

Boston police reported that officers were dispatched around 7:54 p.m. following a shot spotter activation at the intersection of Pilgrim Place and Richfield Street.

Upon arrival, officers found one victim suffering from serious injuries. The individual was quickly transported to a local hospital, but there has been no update on their condition as of yet.
