Donna Linette Brooks’ Death, Coroner Confirms Identify of Victim of Fatal Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-20 as Donna Linette Brooks
The person who died in a multi-vehicle accident in Lexington County Wednesday afternoon has been identified by the Lexington County Coroner’s Office.
According to Coroner Margaret Fisher, 66-year-old Donna Linette Brooks of West Columbia was traveling westbound on I-20 when the vehicle she was operating struck the rear of a truck.
The crash occurred on December 13 at 2:15 p.m. near mile marker 44 in Gilbert.
Brooks was wearing a seatbelt and was pronounced dead due to the injuries she sustained in the accident, Fisher said.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol and the Lexington County Coroner’s Office continue to investigate the incident.
