Denise Sally (Farr) Ralston Death – Bath, NY resident, Denise Sally (Farr) Ralston has passed away. It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Denise Sally (Farr) Ralston, a beloved wife, mother, and member of the Bath, NY community. Denise bravely battled dementia with grace and courage, surrounded by the love of her devoted husband, Karl “Dan” Ralston.
Denise was born on January 4, 1960, in Wayland, NY, to her late parents Arlie and Sally (Stage) Farr. She was a graduate of Haverling Central School, Class of 1979, and throughout her life, she touched the hearts of many through her kindness and cheerful demeanor.
In her earlier years, Denise cared for numerous children as a dedicated babysitter before working as a cashier at Save A Lot in Bath, where she greeted customers with warmth and kindness. Her cheerful disposition brightened the days of all who crossed her path.
On September 2, 1978, Denise married the love of her life, Karl “Dan” Ralston, with whom she shared 46 years of marriage. Together, they raised two daughters, Danielle and Natalie, who were the pride and joy of their lives.
Denise found joy in spending time with her family, especially during camping trips at Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park – Finger Lakes at Babcock Hollow, where she and Dan forged lasting friendships. They also shared a love for NASCAR races and Buffalo Bills football games, creating cherished memories with their daughters by their side.
Denise was an active member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Bath, where she contributed to her community and formed meaningful connections with fellow members.
Though Denise is no longer with us, her memory will forever be cherished by her family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to know her. May she rest in eternal peace, her legacy of love and kindness living on in the hearts of those she touched.
