Death: Scott Miller Palmyra MO died in Tuesday motorcycle crash

Scott Miller Palmyra MI Death – On Tuesday night, a motorcycle accident claimed the life of 52-year-old Scott Miller, a resident of Palmyra.

The Missouri Highway Patrol reported that the fatal crash occurred at approximately 7:17 p.m. near the intersection of South Dickerson and West Lafayette, just west of the Marion County Courthouse.

Miller was riding his 1996 Harley Davidson motorcycle when he lost control, striking a curb and being thrown from the vehicle. Emergency responders from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Marion County Ambulance District, and Palmyra Fire Department arrived at the scene shortly after the crash.

Miller was transported by ambulance to Hannibal Regional Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 9:23 p.m. The motorcycle sustained moderate damage and was towed from the scene by Heartland Wrecker.

Authorities have not yet determined what caused Miller to lose control of the bike, and no further details were immediately available.

This incident marks a tragic loss for the Palmyra community, with Scott Miller being remembered as a respected and well-known local resident. The investigation into the cause of the accident is ongoing.
