On Sunday morning, a deadly car collision occurred on Indianapolis’ northeast side, leaving one woman dead and three others injured. According to online police reports, at approximately 9:50 a.m., personnel from the Indianapolis Fire Department were dispatched to the junction of Kessler Boulevard East Drive and Tuxedo Street in response to a complaint of an injury collision. That is close to North Keystone Avenue and East 62nd Street, which is the Glendale Town Center shopping district.
Officers from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department were summoned to the same location shortly afterward in reference to a deadly accident. The woman was traveling east on Kessler in a gray automobile when she eventually collided with a white van that was traveling west on Kessler, according to an update from IMPD. At the scene, the woman was declared deceased.
Two adult passengers and the van’s driver were transported to a hospital for medical attention. In accordance with protocol, the driver also agreed to have his blood drawn following a tragic collision.
