Madison Straub, known as Maddie and a senior at Silver Lake High School in CTE has tragically passed away. She was confirmed dead in a social media statement that reads:
“Silver Lake has lost a wonderful student, Maddie Straub in a car accident. Maddie lived in Pembroke and was a senior at Silver Lake High School in CTE. Besides thoughts and prayers for her Mother, siblings, family, classmates, coworkers and friends, here is a few way you can help.”
What happened to Madison Straub?
Authorities released an update on Tuesday regarding the death of a teenage girl who was involved in a crash in Duxbury over the weekend, during which she struck a tree and required rescue from the wreckage.
A 17-year-old Pembroke girl was discovered locked in her wrecked vehicle by police responding to a complaint of a single-car crash into a tree in the Harrison Street neighbourhood just before 12:30 a.m. on Saturday, according to the Duxbury Police Department.
According to a news statement from the department, the young person had to be removed from the vehicle using the Jaws of Life because they were unresponsive.
After being transported to Massachusetts General Hospital, the girl passed away on Monday night from her wounds. Madison Straub, also referred to as Maddie, has been identified as her. She was employed at the concession stand at the Pembroke Youth Softball and Baseball facilities.
