Death: Kyle Jepson Bartonville IL resident died following a fatal vehicle accident on August 13

Kyle Jepson Bartonville IL Death – Kyle Jepson, Bartonville, Illinois resident has tragically died. Following reports from friends and relatives of the deceased.

He was announced dead on Wednesday, August 14, 2024 through several publications, acknowledging his well lived life and paying tributes to him. The family is need of all the love and support at this time as they mourn the tragic loss of Kyle Jepson.

Kyle Jepson was known by many of his friends as a people’s person, who also made it clear that it wasn’t enough to be liked. he would usually gift his friends and engage in their favorite hobbies and activities, building a stronger relationship and bond. Jeppy, as he was fondly called by his friends an amazing individual; he was kind, sweet, soft spoken until he had something to say. He was well loved for his smart sense of humor.

He would literally give you the shirt off of his back if he had to. Truck pulls/mud bogs in the freeezing cold.. I miss that, Walmart runs, garage nights, boating, pool, wheeling, the dance place, wolf hollow… you were there for a lot of firsts.. and there was never a dull moment.

The great memories he shared will not be forgotten so soon by everyone who knew him. Kyle was such a great friend to everybody he encountered during his life. It appears he died as a result of a fatal accident as reported by the Peoria County Coroner’s Office:

“The driver of the vehicle, 31-year-old Kyle L. Jepson, of West Pfeiffer Rd, Mapleton, was sadly pronounced deceased by the Peoria County Coroner at 12:44 pm. Jepson suffered multiple blunt force trauma injuries and likely died instantly. Toxicology is pending per Illinois State Statute. The cause of the collision remains under investigation by the Peoria County Sheriff’s Office.”

Deputies from the Peoria County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of culvert damage in the 10300 block of Smithville Road on Tuesday, August 13, 2024, at around 11:26 a.m. Property owners found a car on its top that had crashed in the surrounding woods before deputies arrived. The car was in the wooded area at least forty yards away from the road. In order to reach the car, deputies had to hack through undergrowth. Once inside, they discovered a single person who was dead. Regretfully, this person was declared dead at the site. The motorist who passed away was a Mapleton man of 31 years old. No other occupants could be located. The fire department from Logan-Trivoli arrived on the spot.
