Death: Jamie Corsaro Motorcycle Accident, Houghton young father died in Hope Valley crash

Jamie Mauritzio Corsaro, a resident of Houghton and a beloved father and NCF enterprises employee has tragically passed away leaving behind his family and friends sad and devastated.

He was announced dead through a social media publication that read “Rest easy brother, can’t believe we spoke this morning and just heard the news. You’ll be missed. Great brother, Jamie Mauritzio Corsaro.”

What happened to Jamie Corsaro?
This afternoon at Hope Valley, a motorcyclist lost his life in a collision. At 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, October 6, emergency services were called to a collision between a motorbike and an SUV on Grand Junction Road, close to Valley Road, Hope Valley.

The rider, a 22-year-old male from Houghton, tragically passed away at the site. The 43-year-old Hope Valley man who was operating the SUV was not hurt in the collision.

While Major Crash investigators assessed the site, Grand Junction Road between Awoonga Road and Valley Road was closed in both directions. Thus far this year, the teenage rider’s death marks the 64th fatality on South Australian roadways.
