Ian Whitehouse, a resident of Little Rock, Arkansas, and a beloved son has sadly passed away. He was announced dead by his beloved father in a social media publication that reads:
“Hello everyone. Ian passed away around 12:40 pm. He gave it everything he had as well as the team at UAMS. There are countless people we have to thank for their love & support over the past month and the days ahead. Please keep our family in your prayers. Thank you.”
Ian was hit by a car on Monday, July 1st, while riding his bicycle home, resulting in a very serious incident. Ian has been admitted to the ICU at UAMS Medical Center due to serious injuries he sustained in the collision.
As of July 25, Ian was progressing quite well. However, on the 26th, he began experiencing breathing problems. His lungs began to bleed from the extreme inflammation.
Following a period of difficulty in determining the best course of action, blood clotting elements were directly injected into his lungs. To improve his blood, they also gave him plasma.
Subsequently, they began laboriously attempting to remove every bit of clot from his lungs. At last, they managed to open a passageway in his lungs, allowing him to see them breathing once more.
Ian Whitehouse obituary and funeral arrangements will be released by the family at a later date.
