Death; Craig Berstler Baltimore, OH, Biker died in motorcycle crash

Craig Berstler Death – A motorcyclist is dead and another driver injured following a crash in Greenfield Township in Fairfield County.

Craig Berstler, 54, of Baltimore, died in a crash that happened shortly after 10 p.m. Thursday at the intersection of State Route 158 and Rainbow Drive, according to a news release from the Lancaster post of the Ohio Highway Patrol.

Berstler was riding a 2010 Harley Davidson north on State Route 158 while another driver was eastbound on Rainbow Drive in a 2018 Ford Fusion. The Fusion struck Berstler’s motorcycle as he rode through the intersection, according to the news release.

Paramedics took Berstler to Fairfield Medical Center by EMS and was pronounced dead, while the driver of the Fusion was treated for minor injuries at the scene. The Highway Patrol is investigating the crash and has not issued citations in the crash.

A motorcyclist has died following a two-vehicle crash in Columbus Thursday evening.

The wreck happened near the intersection of Victory and Munson drives. Juan Santiago, 43, was pronounced dead at 5:45 p.m., according to Muscogee County Coroner Buddy Bryan, who added that the victim’s body will be sent to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation for an autopsy.

No further details about the crash have been publicly released.
