David Jenkins Craven County, NC Death – A man is dead following a shooting incident in western Craven County, and his neighbor has been arrested and charged with murder.
Deputies from the Craven County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call on Clark Road on Saturday morning where they found 45-year-old David Antwan Jenkins deceased from apparent gunshot wounds.
Investigators identified Orlando Mayhew Campbell, 65, also a resident of Clark Road, as the suspect. He was subsequently arrested and charged with murder.
Campbell is currently being held without bond in the Craven County Detention Facility. The investigation into the incident is ongoing. Anyone with information is urged to contact the Craven County Sheriff’s Office.
