Dashani Broomfield Stevens Count resident died in motorcycle crash near Airway Heights

A tragic motorcycle crash on Tuesday night near Airway Heights claimed the life of 21-year-old Dashani M. Broomfield, a resident of Stevens County, Washington.

The fatal accident occurred when Broomfield’s motorcycle collided with a car on Highway 2 near Brooks Road, according to the Washington State Patrol (WSP).

Authorities reported that Broomfield was heading east on Highway 2 when a car, traveling west, attempted to turn left onto Brooks Road, leading to the collision between the two vehicles. Despite wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, Broomfield was pronounced dead at the scene due to the severity of the impact.

The WSP is still investigating the crash and has not determined whether drugs or alcohol were factors. However, preliminary reports have identified speed as a likely cause of the accident.
