Danbury CT, Mall Shooting: Macy’s bomb threat results in evacuation and lockdown, police investigates

According to confirmation, the Danbury Police Department is looking into a suspicious occurrence that occurred inside Macy’s at the Danbury Fair Mall.

Law enforcement officials have asked everyone to stay away from the area on social media. The DPD issued the warning just after 4 p.m. on Thursday. The Waterbury Police Department was called to the Brass Mill Center Mall at around 2:20 p.m. in response to an anonymous bomb threat.

“After conducting additional research, WPD concluded that there was no danger and that the threat was not credible. The mall is still open for business as usual, according to law authorities.
