Dallas North Tollway Car Accident – Plano Police and State Troopers are on the scene of a major crash Friday on Dallas North Tollway(DNT). An individual has been killed following the accident that occurred on the Northbound on the Tollway.
According to the Plano Police Department, all lanes of the northbound Dallas North Tollway (DNT) are closed to traffic. Drivers should expect delays throughout the afternoon on northbound DNT in this area.
Locals have been urged to use alternative routes following the tragic crash on Dallas North Tollway north. The deadly crash occurred in the Plano area. An onlooker says a body was seen in the middle of the road, some parts of the body reportedly scattered on the roadside as law enforcement agencies worked to clear the scene.
A vehicle with a broken window and side and mirror allegedly involved in the incident was seen at the side of the road. DPS Troopers are investigating the major accident on the northbound Dallas North Tollway near Park Blvd.
Northbound lanes are closed at Parker Rd. All motorists have been urged to avoid this area. DNT is closed northbound near Park, all traffic being diverted to the frontage road. It’s a mess for all northbound traffic in the area.

It has been reported that the Dallas North Tollway (DNT) in Plano has closed all of its northbound lanes near Parker Road. According to a tweet provided by the agency, motorists should anticipate experiencing delays on northbound DNT in this region throughout the afternoon.

The National Transportation Authority (NTTA) announced in August 2007 that they intended to completely eliminate staffed toll booths by May of 2010.2. On the 11th of December in 2010, the Tollway was completely transformed into an electronic toll collection system.
The Dallas North Tollway is flanked by frontage roads that are designated as Dallas Parkway for the purposes of addressing. These frontage roads are located to the north of Interstate 635.
This can be ascribed to the time when Dallas Parkway was a prominent thoroughfare prior to its transformation into the current layout of a tollway at that location.
