The victim has been identified as Codey Daly of Montreal, Quebec, who passed away to injuries sustained in the incident. Further details have not yet been released.
Codey Daly had a distinguished career in the restaurant and hospitality industry, with nearly a decade of experience in progressively responsible roles. Daly began as a Manager at Resto Bar Camelia in 2012, where they honed their management skills until 2014.
From 2014 to 2015, Daly served as the Food & Beverage Manager at NAV CENTRE / CENTRE NAV, overseeing food and beverage operations to ensure quality and service.
In 2015, Daly became the Maitre D’Hotel Banquet/Restaurant at Château Vaudreuil Hôtel & Suites, where they managed dining and special events, contributing to the hotel’s reputation for excellence. Daly was promoted to Sales Manager from February to May 2018, where they played a key role in driving revenue and enhancing customer relationships.
In 2017, Daly took on the role of General Manager at Chateau Du Lac, overseeing daily operations to ensure exceptional customer service and efficiency. This position further cemented Daly’s reputation as a dynamic and effective leader in the hospitality industry.
Daly continued to manage restaurant operations as Gérant Restauration at Hôtel William Gray in 2018, maintaining their commitment to high-quality dining experiences. That same year, they became Co-Owner of La Belle et La Boeuf, a popular restaurant known for its unique dining concept.
