Chase Yarns Clarks Summit PA Death – Word of Life Bible Institute 2021 Alumni Chase Yarns sadly passed away Monday morning. He was announced dead through a social media publication that read:
“My heart is broken and can never be fixed, nor will ever be the same without my beautiful boy. Even though he has left this earth for a much better place we will always keep him alive in our hearts. RIP my sweet fun fun-loving son Chase Christopher. We will be together someday when the time is right. I know Memaw, Poppy and Grandma were there waiting for you. Love you always and forever.”
Who was Chase Yarns?
Son of Amy and Chief Christopher Yarns of Clarks Summit, Chase C. Yarns was born in 1998 at CMC in Scranton. He was one of the first quadruplets born in Northeastern Pennsylvania. Chase participated in track & field and cross-country at Abington Heights High School, where she graduated in 2016.
After attending and graduating from Pottersville, New York’s Word of Life Bible Institute, he went on to Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania’s Clarks Summit University. Chase graduated with high honors (4.0 GPA) from CSU and Word of Life, two institutions that acknowledged his hard work.
He was an enthusiastic member of Steamtown Church in Scranton and Hawthorne Gospel Church in Hawthorne, New Jersey, before becoming a passionate member of Hickory Street Presbyterian Church in Scranton as a child. As a brother, uncle, and son, Chase was kind and compassionate. He was a man of great faith who loved his church and being of service to others.
Chase loved being outside, traveling, going on hikes and runs, and spending time with his family. He did something with his passions. His passion for running carried him from high school track and cross-country teams to finishing the Steamtown Marathon in 2022; his love of people prompted him to join a number of clubs and organizations that all had a shared interest in assisting and cooperating with others. His love of music inspired him to teach himself the guitar. Everyone who knew Chase will miss his quick wit, sense of humor, laugh, and smile.
