John Burns , a die-hard Celtic Fan tragically died. He died due to severe injuries sustained in a car accident. The news of his death has gotten so many hearts deeply wounded and brutally injured.
This is a special case with the Celtic community, as his contribution to the growth of the community was so immense and great. He was hit by a car on a busy road in Glasgow.
When the alarm went out on Friday at around 2:00 pm, emergency personnel rushed to Duntreath Avenue in the Knightswood neighborhood, close to Drumchapel. Authorities were notified of a collision involving a car and a pedestrian.
Celtic YNWA have taken to their Facebook page to show their respect and pay a deserved tribute to John Burns. Their words reads thus; “John Burns would have been 23 on Wednesday, the same day his beloved club play in Europe.
Could we ask for everyone to join in & participate in a minutes applause on the 23rd minute. We have seen multiple fans & pages asking for this & we will it would be the least we could do as a Celtic family at this terrible time…”
