Cattle and Clover Shooting: 1 killed, 1 hurt in separate incident in Wildwood, NJ

Cattle and Clover Shooting: A suspect has been arrested and charged with murder in connection to the dey shooting in Wildwood Tuesday night.

Authorities were dispatched to the Cattle and Clover last night 9 July, 2024 for a shooting report. One suspect was located and arrested for murder in Cape May County.

In a separate incident, Cape May County Prosecutor Jeffrey H. Sutherland and Chief Joseph Murphy of the Wildwood Police Department announce the Wildwood Police Department and the Cape May County Prosecutor’s Office are actively investigating a shooting incident that occurred in the 3800 block of Pacific Avenue in the City of Wildwood, NJ.

The incident resulted in the injury of an innocent bystander who is currently in critical condition at Atlantic Regional Medical Center located in Atlantic City NJ. The suspect involved has been identified but remains at large.

“Our priority at this time is ensuring the safety of the community and bringing the perpetrator to justice. Prosecutor Sutherland advises this is an on-going investigation and urges anyone who may have additional information relating to this investigation to contact the Wildwood Police Department at 609-522-0222 or the Cape May County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit at 609-465-1135.”
