Caruthersville Homicide: 24-year-old Myreon Carter died after shooting in the vicinity of 61 East Haven
Caruthersville is currently conducting a homicide investigation following a fatal shooting on Monday night, March 4.
Caruthersville Police received reports of gunfire at 7:28 p.m. in the vicinity of 61 East Haven.
Upon arrival, officers were directed to 62 East Haven, where they discovered 24-year-old Myreon Carter, a resident of Caruthersville, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.
Carter was unresponsive and was swiftly transported to a nearby hospital, but unfortunately succumbed to his injuries.
Caruthersville Police, with assistance from the Missouri State Highway Patrol and Pemiscot County Sheriff’s Department, initiated a homicide investigation.
