Caroline Earhart Columbia MO Death, Father Tolton Catholic High School student died at 14

Caroline Earhart Columbia MO Death – Caroline Earhart, a 14-year-old resident of Columbia, Missouri, and a student of Father Tolton Catholic High School passed away Tuesday, August 13, 2024.

She was announced dead in a social media post that read “We are all heartbroken about the news of our Sweet Caroline. Please keep all of us in your prayers for the long road ahead.” She will be missed by her family and her teachers, teammate and classmates.

Who was Caroline Earhart?
Born on January 19, 2010, at Boone Hospital in Columbia, Missouri, Caroline Anne Earhart is the daughter of Todd Robert and Michelle Marie (Dimmitt) Earhart.

At the age of two, Caroline enrolled in pre-kindergarten at the Vanderbilt Learning Center in Naples, Florida, where she became the head of the school and got to know everyone. She then enrolled in Veteran Memorial Elementary School’s kindergarten program and continued there through the fourth grade.

She attended Beulah Ralph Elementary School and John Warner Middle School after returning to Columbia with her family, where in the eighth grade she captained the cheer squad.

Caroline was excited to join the varsity cheerleading squad at Father Tolton Catholic High School, where she would begin her high school career. All of her instructors loved having her as a student. Caroline was quite good at Spanish, American history, and creative writing.

From Blazer rides to biking the Katy Trail with Archie in her backpack, Caroline made a ton of amazing memories with her family. She and her father and brother finished the yearly Murph Challenge, and they just went to the Peddlers Jamboree, which was a whopping thirty-five miles away.

Caroline’s mother, along with her own hairbows, always chose the cutest ensembles. She was quite close to her brother, Luke. She enjoyed going to the convenience store to buy junk food and to play PS-4 competitively with him.

Caroline was an active girl who was on the swim team, played soccer, and started dancing at an early age. Being a perfectionist, she was determined to get her back handspring for cheerleading flawless, which she was currently working on. Creative by nature, Caroline loved crafts, painting, and music of all kinds, from Taylor Swift to Lana Del Rey. Nothing gave her greater joy than hanging out with her buddies for dance parties, sleepovers, and mall outings.

A Prayer Service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Friday, August 16, 2024, at Our Lady of the Lourdes Catholic Church, 903 Bernadette Dr, Columbia, Mo. 65203. Visitation will follow from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday, August 16, 2024, at the church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 17, 2024, at Our Lady of the Lourdes Catholic Church with the Very Reverend Christopher Cordes officiating. Graveside services and interment will take place at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 17, 2024, at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Shelbina, Mo.
