A man and a woman were discovered dead inside a condo on Friday afternoon, and St. Pete police are looking into what appears to have been a murder-suicide.
At around 2:30 p.m., officers responded to a complaint for a welfare check at the Parklane Condominiums off 48th Avenue North, where they found the deceased. Neville Jones,59, shot his lover Callie Wright,50, according to the police, before killing himself.
The victim’s family took to social media to solicit for prayers from friends and the general public. The post read “Good morning Facebook family please keep the wright, the Gunn’s and Dixon families In prayer in the loss of our niece Callie Wright( lord I put everything in your hands you are the only one I trust with all I have and all I am Amen.”
