Callie Metzger Car Accident: Callie Metzger Grayson, a Parkland Fire hockey player, died in an SK ATV accident at the age of 19. Callie Metzger of Grayson, SK passed away in a crash.

Callie Metzger, a 19-year-old Grayson, Saskatchewan resident and beloved Parkland Crushers hockey player was pronounced dead following the incident that happened over the weekend. Melville Minor Hockey broke the news of her passing in a poignant social media post:

“MMHA extends our heartfelt condolences to Callie Metzger’s family, friends, teammates, and coaches. Callie was a beautiful spirit who would be deeply missed by those who knew her. She is gone far too soon. Our hockey community is mourning with the Metzger family.”

Callie Metzger, born on May 22, 2005, was a popular figure in the Saskatchewan Female Hockey League. She played for the Parkland Crushers from 2017 to 2018, before moving on to the Parkland Fire in female hockey.

Callie was known for her love of life, a brilliant grin that could light up any room, and a happy presence that was treasured by everyone she knew. Like her mother, her contagious grin left an indelible effect on everyone she met. Callie was well admired and adored for the extraordinary young woman she was.
