Calallen High School Shooting Hoax Investigation: Police respond to active shooter call on August 8
Corpus Christi police responded to a reported active shooter at Calallen High School on Wednesday morning, August 8th, around 8:37 a.m.
After a thorough search of the campus, officers determined the threat was a hoax. No injuries were reported, and the school is now secure. Police are currently investigating the source of the false call.
Senior Officer Jennifer Collier emphasized the department’s commitment to public safety, stating that all threats made towards schools, students, and staff are taken seriously.
