Bryan Testerman Jr. Knoxville, TN Death: 57-year-old Bryan Testerman Jr., of Knoxville, TN has been identified as the armed man shot dead in an officer-involved incident early Monday.
Testerman Jr was a home builder and realtor popularly known all around Tennessee. The tragic incident happened around 6:34 A.M., in the 8000 block of Isherwood Lane.
The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation is leading the investigation after Bryan Testerman Jr. passed away from his injuries in West Knox County.
Following gunshots in the area, the Knox County Sheriff’s Office received a complaint regarding a probable prowler in the 8000 block of Isherwood Lane about at 6:34 a.m. KCSO reported when deputies arrived that they discovered an armed male. This is the reason SWAT and the Negotiations team were summoned to the location.

A short time later, KCSO claimed the subject was shot by a KCSO constable under circumstances under active inquiry by TBI. TBI claims deputies reported the man refused to drop the handgun upon instructions.
