Bremerton Fire: 1 dead, illegal Meth lab exploded, second house destroyed in Bremerton, WA

Bremerton Fire Investigations: Bremerton Fire Department and Bremerton Police are responding to the scene of a major fire incident on Thursday. According to investigators, one person has died following a two-structure fire at 1925 5th Street in Bremerton, Washington.

Bremerton Fire Department was called to the scene around 4 p.m., Thursday 18, July 2024. According to the department, multiple explosions were heard from one of the residents followed by a massive blaze which escalated to the second building.

A local stated that one of the buildings was an illegal meth lab. Officials confirmed that the scene is been tackled as firefighters work to extinguish the flames.

Locals have been urged to avoid the scene due to the incident. Bremerton Fire Department: “House fire. 5th Street just East of Naval. Bremerton. Saw it at 4:47 just starting then two explosions. Looked like water on it at 4:57 from the color of the smoke…..”

EMERGENCY INCIDENT: “Structure Fire on 5th and Naval. Please avoid the area until further notice. Take alternate routes as Naval will be blocked. Kitsap County, Washington.” This is a developing story.
