In both high school and college settings, Bill’s unwavering commitment to cultivating talent and fostering a love for the arts served as a source of inspiration for everyone who had the extraordinary opportunity to collaborate with him.
It was impossible not to miss Bill’s presence in the Lehigh Valley theater scene. Because of his talent both on and off the stage, as well as his enthusiasm for the theater, he became a well-known character in a variety of spheres, including community theater, high school shows, college performances, and even larger venues.
It was quite uncommon to come across a production in the region in which Bill’s knowledge and influence were not immediately apparent. His absence leaves a real emptiness in the hearts of everyone who knew him, and the impact that he had on the theater community will be profoundly missed by everyone in the arts community.
One of the most noteworthy accomplishments that Bill made was his participation in the production of “Mamma Mia” at Northwestern Lehigh University. Bill’s direction and mentoring left an unforgettable impression on the cast and crew of the show.
His unflinching support and encouragement helped mold a large number of young performers, instilling in them a passion for the arts that will continue to endure for many years to come.
Bill was a lecturer at Northampton Community College for more than 14 years, and during that time, he demonstrated an unrivaled level of dedication to the department of Theatre and Communications.
In addition to his position as a member of the college’s faculty, Bill was a cherished friend, mentor, and colleague to a great number of people. He personified the soul of the college’s theater department.
