Bill Huffman Grand River KY Death – Bill Huffman, a 68-year-old resident of Grand Rivers, Kentucky passed away on Tuesday, July 30, 2024, at Baptist Health in Paducah, Kentucky.
He was announced dead by GTB Yacht Sales in a social media post that reads:
“With great sadness, we are sharing that we lost a special man. Bill Huffman, the yacht sales manager for over twenty years at Green Turtle Bay, passed away on July 30. Many knew him in the industry as witty, fun-loving and a very successful yacht broker. We are keeping his wife, Vida Gary and the rest of his family in our prayers in the difficult days ahead.”
Who was Bill Huffman?
Bill was raised at Huffman’s Ford by his parents, the late Junius Huffman and Ann Johnson Huffman, as well as his two sisters. He was born on Tuesday, April 3, 1956, on the family farm in Iron Hill, Kentucky.
He raised his family and worked as a farmer there until going to college and earning a real estate degree from Morehead State University in 2000. In the year his kid graduated from high school, he put on his cap and gown.
After meeting Vida, he relocated across Kentucky to begin a new life together and pursue a career in boat sales. He has put his all into everything he has done, from farming to selling yachts, and along the road he has found success and lots of friends. He was a regular at the Calvert City Gun Club, where he taught everyone how to play rook and shot trap.
Even if you had just recently met, he had a way of making you feel like an old buddy by cracking jokes and telling you stories, whether they were true or made up. Following his retirement, he tended to his vegetable garden, kept his grandchildren in line, and captured the attention of cats.
Bill Huffman obituary and funeral service
A funeral service will be held on August 1, 2024 at 7:00 pm at Twin Lakes Worship Center with Bro. Jeremy Short officiating. Visitation will be August 1, 2024 from 5 pm until 7 pm at Twin Lakes Worship Center located at 4166 US HWY 641 North Benton, KY 42025. There will be a funeral service held on Sunday, August 4, 2024 at 2 pm at Malone Funeral Home located at 325 Malone Lane Grayson, KY 41143. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to Twin Lakes Worship Center 4166 US HWY 641 North Benton, KY 42025.
