Bexley Sydney Crash – A 38-year-old man was allegedly hit by a Ford Falcon at the intersection of Preddys Road and John Street in Bexley, ‘s south, at 10.40pm on Tuesday. An unsettling bumper sticker was discovered on the rear of a vehicle involved in a late-night collision that resulted in the death of a pedestrian. The family of the victim are devastated and are mourning his sudden death.
The 17-year-old driver, holding a provisional license, was operating a red vehicle. It is alleged that he circled the local area before returning to the spot where he was captured by law enforcement. As stated in a 2GB report, the police have seized his Ford Falcon, which was found on Downey Street in close proximity. The car featured a bumper sticker with the statement ‘I drive like a c***’ prominently visible.
The 17-year-old sustained minor injuries in the crash and was sent to St George Hospital, where they will undergo mandatory tests. Witnesses performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) on the pedestrian with great intensity before paramedics arrived.
However, despite their efforts, the individual could not be revived. An investigation has been launched to scrutinize the crash, and anybody who have any pertinent information about the incident are urgently urged to get in touch with Crime Stoppers at 1800 333 000.
The victim’s identity is still undisclosed, and a report will be prepared for the coroner.
