Who is Shawn Klush?
Shawn Klush hails from Pittston, Pennsylvania, where he spent his formative years. Graduating from Seton Catholic High School in Pittston in 1988, Klush’s passion for music ignited early on, particularly in emulation of his musical hero, Elvis Presley.

Influenced by his father, who was a radio disc jockey, Klush was exposed to Elvis’s melodies from a tender age. Fueled by his admiration for The King of Rock and Roll, Klush delved into guitar studies and eventually joined forces with local musicians Joseph Bruno, Dan Gardner, George Guman, and Charlie Newcomb to form the band Night Moves.

Shawn Klush Career
Klush’s talent and dedication to capturing the essence of Elvis did not go unnoticed. His breakthrough moment came when he clinched victory in the “Worldwide Elvis Competition” held in Montreal on January 6, 2005, just preceding Elvis’s 70th birthday.

Not stopping there, Klush ascended to grand champion status at the prestigious $25,000 “World Elvis Tribute Artist Competition” held at the Potawatomi Casino Contest.

His accolades continued to pile up as he received “The People’s Choice Award” from Gibson Guitar in Nashville for his portrayal of “Best Concert Elvis” that same year. In 2007, Klush’s talent transcended borders as he claimed the title of international champion in BBC One’s “World’s Greatest Elvis Competition” in the United Kingdom, broadcasted by BBC1 Network U.K.

However, perhaps the crowning achievement of Klush’s career came when he was handpicked by Graceland as the winner of Elvis Presley Enterprises’ inaugural Ultimate Tribute Artist Contest in Memphis, Tennessee. This distinguished honor solidified his status as the sole Elvis tribute artist officially endorsed and approved by Elvis Presley Enterprises.
