Ben Brown Obituary – On April 4, 2024, Benjamin Mayers Brown, an esteemed individual who was also a devoted father, a devoted spouse, and an adored community member, succumbed unexpectedly to a myocardial infarction.
He was 41 years old. By virtue of his extraordinary persona and magnanimity, Ben’s demise has created an enduring vacuum that shall profoundly affect all individuals who had the honor of becoming acquainted with him.
Ben attended The University of Utah, where he developed an interest in Middle Eastern Studies and graduated from East High School in 2000. While there, he joined the Beta Theta Phi Fraternity.
During this period, Ben’s insatiable ambition and inquisitiveness for knowledge became evident to all individuals who encountered him.
Ben, in conjunction with Chad Moore, his long-standing friend and business partner, established Mountain West Commercial Real Estate after graduating from the University of Utah, initiated a prosperous professional trajectory.
Because he had so many cherished friends and colleagues, Mountain West became a second family to him. Ben’s unwavering commitment, fervor, and authentic concern for his clients and peers garnered him extensive esteem and veneration in the field.
He was the last person to care about awards or recognition, frequently failing to attend ceremonies to receive them, despite his numerous accomplishments. Conversely, his primary focus lay in the significant connections he forged throughout his journey.
Ben exchanged vows with Taylor Nicolaides Brown, the passion of his life, in Salt Lake City, Utah, in 2008. They were the proud parents of four exceptional children: Etta Elizabeth (5), Lila Elise (11), and Eloise Grace (11). Ben was deeply devoted to his children and delighted in observing their continued success. He was a devout paternal figure who valued each moment spent with his family, lavishing them with affection, assistance, consistent motivation, and Amazon purchases. Ben’s children and he grew closer through their shared interest in accumulating Pokemon cards and coins; together, they created cherished memories that will endure a lifetime.
Ben was renowned for his compassion, generosity, and ability to interact with individuals from all walks of life throughout his lifetime. Ben had unparalleled originality and consistently thought outside the box.
Ben could brighten any circumstance with the assistance of his witty humour, heartfelt embraces, bear hugs, sincerity, and propensity for fast forgiveness. Friday, April 12, 2024, at 12:00 pm, funeral services will be held at the Bonneville Ward, 1535 East Bonneview Drive, Salt Lake City. Visitation will be held at Larkin Sunset Lawn, 2350 East 1300 South, Salt Lake City, on Thursday, April 11 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.
Additionally, it will be held at the church on Friday from 10:00 to 11:30 am, prior to the services. The place of interment shall be Larkin Sunset Lawn Cemetery. Zoom will be utilized to broadcast services for those who are unable to attend. Kindly access the “Watch Services” link provided above.
