Bay Minette Shooting – During the morning of Saturday, May 11, 2024, a state trooper is pinned down after being shot at. Approximately in the vicinity of Stockton, the incident took place in the north Baldwin region.
A large number of people have been injured, and there is a possibility that some of them have died as a result of the shooting that apparently began at a May Day event in Stockton.
A 13-year-old was allegedly shot in the leg, while a 15-year-old and a 34-year-old were allegedly shot in the back, according to a report that has not been verified by any means.
A witness stated that they saw a large number of police officers flying toward Interstate 65 and North Baldwin. A total of four helicopters, as well as several law enforcement agencies, the fire department, and emergency medical services, were sent to the location.
Bay Minette teen arrested in Spring Break shooting
At approximately 8:40 p.m. on March 27, 2024, the Gulf Shores Police Department received a complaint of shots being fired in the 100 block of Gulf Shores Parkway, which is located close to the intersection of Highway 59 and East Beach Blvd.
One victim, a boy adolescent minor, was shot. Over the course of the previous week, detectives from the Criminal Investigation Division of the Gulf Shores Police Department collaborated with the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office, the Baldwin County District Attorney’s Office, and the Bay Minette Police Department to determine the identity of the person who was responsible for the shooting.
GSPD Detectives were given a warrant to arrest Gregory D. Tate, III, who was 18 years old and lived in Bay Minette, Alabama. The warrant was issued on April 2, 2024.
With regard to his participation in the shooting, he is being charged with assault in the first degree. Under the supervision of the Street Crimes Unit of the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office, he was taken into custody.
