Baseem Taliaferro Obituary, Galloway Township man died in Pleasantville shooting
On Thursday night in Pleasantville, a man from Galloway Township lost his life in a shooting incident.
Baseem Taliaferro, aged 38, was discovered deceased within a residence on the first block of West Pleasant Avenue, as stated by the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office.
Police received reports of shots fired shortly after 11 p.m. at the location.
Taliaferro sustained at least one gunshot wound to his torso and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The cause and manner of death are awaiting determination pending an autopsy.
The Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office’s Major Crimes Unit and the Pleasantville Police Department are currently investigating this incident.
